Amazae Special Events | Lets Flip It

“Flipping” is a term event coordinators use to describe how they take any location like an empty building or old wine cellar and transform it into a mesmorizing and stunning venue for their clients.  This was such the case with Susan and John’s wedding at Testarossa Winery in Los Gatos, CA.  This wedding was unbelievably gorgeous and the only way for me to describe it is well…show you.  The video below was a promo made specifically for one of our favorite event coordintors, Crystal Lequang of Amazae Special Events.  We are still amazed at the amount of detail and effort that went into putting the entire event together…phew…I think I’ll stick to videography. :)   Enjoy!

Jeff + Janell | A Classic Couple

Nothin’ says vintage chic like SUPER 8mm film.  It’s smooth, vibrant, and oooh so sexy…just like our clients Jeff and Janell.  When we first met Jeff and Janell, we knew we were in for something really fun.  Of course when we found out they were film buffs and that their wedding theme was classic vintage nuances from the 40’sand 50’s…we naturally had to incorporate some super 8mm to complete the package.  It’s something I recommend to anyone wanting a timeless atmospheric touch to their wedding video.  The images we got from the footage can attest to how gorgeous this medium can be and if you are looking for something a little different than your typical wedding video, try mixing in a few rolls of SUPER 8mm film, you’ll be glad you did! :)

Since we are still working on Jeff and Janell’s wedding film, we thought we’d share some of the images of the footage we got to show how wonderfully charming this format can be.  Enjoy the images below and let us know what you think!

Thank you Mr. Telly!

A majority of the time we, at CinematicTouch, do what we do because we greatly enjoy what we do.  The long hours of editing, lack of sunshine, lack of social life, and lack of sleep is overshadowed by the many thank you cards and emotional emails we get from our clients saying how they enjoyed watching their wedding video.  The satisfaction from our clients is what drives us to do more.

However, every once in a while, it is truly rewarding to be recognized within your industry for your creative work and we at CinematicTouch are truly honored to have garnered such recognition from the one and only Telly Awards.  It is an incredible feeling when holding the famous statue in my hands as I still can’t believe I am holding what is considered the equivalence of an Oscar but for the video production industry.  We thank the Telly Awards for their generous award and we will use it to remind us to continually improve our work as well as our videography industry.
